This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP" or "Usage Terms") sets the rules for using the THEME website and applications (the "Service") operated by Potential Synergy Inc. ("Potential Synergy," "THEME," "we," "us," or "our"). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. If you violate this AUP, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate your account as described in Section 6.
Because THEME hosts user-generated content and public sharing, there is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
1. Content you may not post, upload, generate, or share
You may not use the Service to create, upload, store, generate, or share content that:
1.1 Is unlawful or promotes, facilitates, or instructs illegal activity.
1.2 Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors (real, fictional, or AI-generated), and any grooming, solicitation, or endangerment of a minor. We report CSAM to the appropriate authorities and organizations (such as NCMEC) as required by law.
1.3 Is non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualizes a real, identifiable person without consent, including AI-generated or "deepfake" sexual content.
1.4 Harasses, bullies, threatens, or stalks any person, or incites others to do so.
1.5 Is hateful — that attacks, degrades, or promotes violence or hatred against people based on a protected characteristic such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or serious illness.
1.6 Is violent, graphic, or promotes self-harm — including credible threats, incitement to violence, terrorist or violent-extremist content, or content that encourages suicide, self-harm, or disordered eating.
1.7 Infringes or misappropriates rights — including intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights — or that you do not have the rights to upload or share.
1.8 Is deceptive or fraudulent — including scams, phishing, impersonation of a real person or organization, or misinformation designed to deceive or cause harm.
1.9 Contains malware or is designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
1.10 Discloses others' private or sensitive information without authorization (doxxing), including government identifiers, financial-account details, or health information.
1.11 Is spam — bulk, repetitive, or unsolicited promotional content, or manipulation of the public feed, votes, referrals, or rankings.
2. Conduct you may not engage in
You may not:
2.1 Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
2.2 Harass, abuse, or harm other users, or encourage others to do so.
2.3 Attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to access.
2.4 Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent security, authentication, rate limits, quotas, or usage measurement (including token metering).
2.5 Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access, harvest, or extract data or content from the Service except as we expressly permit.
2.6 Overload or interfere with the Service or the networks connected to it (for example, denial-of-service activity).
2.7 Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, weights, or prompts underlying the Service, except where permitted by law.
2.8 Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or access to it without our authorization.
2.9 Abuse promotions, referrals, rewards, capacity, or free credits (for example, by creating fake or multiple accounts).
3. Rules specific to AI features
Because THEME generates images, audio, video, 3D, text, and multi-voice Cast episodes, you additionally agree not to:
3.1 Use AI features to produce any content prohibited in Section 1, including CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or real-person deepfakes used to deceive, defame, or harass.
3.2 Generate content that impersonates a real person's voice, likeness, or identity without their consent, or that is presented as authentic when it is AI-generated in a way intended to mislead.
3.3 Use the Service or its Outputs to train, fine-tune, or develop a competing AI model or dataset, or to otherwise misuse the underlying AI providers.
3.4 Attempt to bypass or defeat safety systems, content filters, or usage policies of the Service or its AI providers (for example, "jailbreak" prompts).
3.5 Use AI features to generate advice that you then present to others as professional legal, medical, or financial advice, or to generate content for high-risk uses without appropriate human review.
3.6 Violate the usage policies of the underlying AI providers whose models power a given feature. Your prompts and Outputs are subject to those policies in addition to this AUP.
4. Rules specific to Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
If you connect your own third-party AI provider API key:
4.1 You must be authorized to use the key and must comply with that provider's terms and usage policies.
4.2 You are responsible for all activity, usage, and charges on your provider account through the Service.
4.3 You may not connect a key you are not permitted to use, or use BYOK to circumvent this AUP, our metering, or a provider's restrictions.
4.4 We may disable a connected key that appears invalid, compromised, or abusive.
5. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
5.1 Report and block. Every user can report objectionable content and block abusive users directly in the app or website. Use the report control on any piece of content and the block control on any user.
5.2 Review and action. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and aim to act on them typically within 24 hours. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts, and eject users who violate this AUP — with or without notice where we believe it necessary to protect users or comply with law.
5.3 No pre-screening. We do not pre-screen all content and are not responsible for User Content, but we act on violations we become aware of. Moderation is not perfect, and applying or not applying these rules in one case does not waive our right to act in another.
5.4 Legal reporting. We may report unlawful content or conduct to law enforcement and other authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations.
6. Consequences of violations
Depending on severity and history, a violation of this AUP may result in one or more of the following, at our discretion: a warning; removal or restriction of content; loss of access to features; forfeiture of tokens, rewards, or virtual items; suspension; or permanent termination of your account. Serious violations (such as those in Section 1.2 and 1.3) will result in immediate termination and may be reported to authorities. We may also revoke Outputs or public content associated with a violation.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this AUP from time to time; material changes take effect as described in the Terms of Service. To report a violation or ask a question:
